If their play Sunday night wasn't frustrating enough for the Seattle Seahawks, imagine the mood in the locker room if the team had lost one or more of its players to a freak accident when NBC's overhead camera fell to the turf not once but twice.
The New Orleans Saints had just called timeout with
11:24 remaining in the first quarter when the camera fell a few yards from where the Seahawks were huddling. After the
camera was put back in place, it fell again and nearly
hit Seattle's Bobby Engram as the receiver was walking to the sideline.
The snafu caused a 10-minute delay to Sunday's game, won by the Saints 28-17.
