Clemens to appear on '60 Minutes'

Images2 Roger Clemens posted a video Sunday in which he again denied ever using performance-enhancing drugs and added he will soon be doing an interview on the subject with CBS' "60 Minutes."

Clemens announced he plans to sit down with CBS' Mike Wallace shortly after New Year's Day for an interview a network spokesman said is scheduled to air on Jan. 6.

Major League Baseball's Mitchell Report on the use of performance-enhancing drugs contains allegations by former Toronto and New York Yankees strength coach Brian McNamee that he injected Clemens with steroids in 1998 while with the Blue Jays, and in 2000 and 2001 while with the Yankees. McNamee also claimed he injected Clemens with Human Growth Hormone in 2000.

Clemens has repeatedly denied the allegations. The "60 Minutes" interview will be his first since the Mitchell Report was released on Dec. 13.
