Femme fatale

Photo03 First there was Jessica Simpson's presence at a recent Cowboys game and the resulting miserable play that day of her boyfriend Tony Romo. Then the Dallas quarterback was criticized in some circles for taking the actress on a weekend vacation to Mexico the week before Sunday's playoff game against the New York Giants.

Romo wasn't terrible in the loss to the Giants but he certainly didn't play as well as he did in two regular-season wins against the New Yorkers. Try as they might Dallas fans can't hang this one on Simpson. She wasn't even at the game ... or was she?

In a move worthy of a 15-yard taunting penalty, the always inventive New York Post sent a Simpson lookalike named Lynsey Nordstrom to the game, dressed her up like the actress, sat her in the third row at the 50-yard line behind the Dallas bench and had her whoop it up with the crowd.

Sunday's score: Giants 21, Cowboys 17. Monday's headline: " 'BOYS SEEING DOUBLE: Post's 'Jess' Helps Giants KO Dallas."

After the game, a Giants fan sitting near Nordstrom urged her to accompany the team to the NFC Championship Game against the Packers next week in Green Bay. According to the Post, the 21-year-old nanny replied, "What's Green Bay?"
