Sad news emanating today from the New York Giants organization as longtime radio analyst Dick Lynch has passed away.
Lynch died Wednesday morning after being treated for leukemia. He was 72.
A standout defensive back on the great Giant teams of the late 1950s and early 1960s, Lynch transitioned to broadcasting after his playing career and was the color man on Giants radio from 1968 until this year, teaming alongside such notable play-by-play men as Marty Glickman, Marv Albert and Jim Gordon.
Funeral services were being scheduled for this weekend.
