The FCC ruled Comcast Corp. has discriminated against the NFL Network by only agreeing to carry the cable channel on a premium tier.
The government said Comcast consumers should be able to access NFL Network, which has it's own package of exclusive live NFL telecasts, in a less-costly basic package.
An administrative law judge will now decide whether to compel Comcast to carry the network at the lower price point.
